From the cover of the book our group was able to tell what it was going to be about; the kid on the cover is wearing a bunch of plant leaves. There for you can assume that the book will take place in an area where there are a lot of trees and plants. Our group thought that the book lord of the flies was a really good book and that it shoes that to survive you need to have fire, food, and shelter. The kids in lord of the flies ended up having all of them. The book is very inspirational and can change the way you think about things when you are in a large group and not just think about your self, think about the others in the group as well as your self.

This picture represents the head of the pig that Jacks tribe killed and had for dinner. They offer the pigs head to the beast that lives on the island.  

The ending of the book is ironic because the boys are at war and fighting and burning down the island and a war ship comes and rescues them form the fire and there war and brings them home safe and sound (only missing two people who were kiled).
